"I'm a food person ..." sosyal pakinggan anu? Pero ang totoo nyan, matakaw lang talaga ako. LoLz!
That is why i have always been thankful having a wife who really knows how to work up her magic in the kitchen.
Almusal, Brunch, Tanghalian, Merienda, Dinner, MidnaytSnak at snacks bago matulog (opo, magkaiba yun! hehe)
And the thing i love the most is that we get to share this wonderful gift of my wife with our family and friends.
Walang sawa niya kaming pinagluluto. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Monthsaries, Binyag, Kumpil, kapag me napromote, kapag me nademote, welcome party, despedida, kapag lumalablayf ang tropa, kapag me brokenhearted, etc. etc.
And everytime she does, it will always be a hearty meal. Kasi she knows how to make FOOD as a medium of LOVE. Astig di ba?
Sabi ng wife ko, anybody can cook, and yes that is true.
But she doesn't only know how to cook ... more essentially is she knows when to cook!
She knows those moments na kailangan ang food to celebrate life even without any particular occassion, moments na need ang food to comfort a person, those moments that food will strengthen the bond of friendship.
And that to me is a gift, a talent, that not all of us have. A talent of my wife that i will always be thankful for.
And with that, if you are married to a woman who tirelessly cook for you day in and day out ... don't forget to appreciate her kahit pritong itlog lang yan or instant noodles, dahil cooking will always be one of their medium of love para sa atin.
P.S.
